Zoll subleases former Cheswick call center

The company, based in O’Hara Township, is subleasing J.C. Penney’s former customer service call center in nearby Cheswick, according to a release by the Pittsburgh office of Avison Young.

The deal adds 28,172 square feet to Zoll’s established 123,000-square-foot presence in its headquarters, the former home of MSA.

J.C. Penney closed its operation in the building in 2012.

David Auel, a vice president in Avison Young’s Pittsburgh office who represented J.C. Penney in the sublease, said the additional space gives Zoll greater “flexibility and a chance to renew for a longer term.”
